The world premiere of The Wolves, Sarah DeLappe's debut play, was met with widespread critical acclaim and sold-out houses when it opened on September 11 of this year. In response to popular demand, The Playwrights Realm, by arrangement with Scott Rudin and Eli Bush, will present a limited, encore engagement of the production from November 29-December 24.  

Robin Rothstein (MAD LIBS LIVE!) teams again with original cast members, including Sas Goldberg (SIGNIFICANT OTHER) for an industry readers of her new comedy, DEREK JETER MAKES THE PLAY on Monday, October 24th in New York City. Julie Kramer directs.

The Playwrights Realm, led by Founding Artistic Director Katherine Kovner and Producing Director Roberta Pereira, has announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of Sarah Delappe's THE WOLVES.

In addition to planning an Off-Broadway series at the Horton Grand Theatre, SDMT is cultivating two, site-specific works; LAST NIGHT IN TOWN - a new musical based on the discography of Ben Folds, and HALL PASS - an immersive musical set and performed in a high school. Both musicals were featured in New York University's Forum on Site-Specific Performance in 2015. LAST NIGHT IN TOWN has another San Diego connection: one of the show's creators, Amy Cordileone, grew up in San Diego and worked locally for many years before moving to New York City.

Led by Founding Artistic Director Katherine Kovner and Producing Director Roberta Pereira, The Playwrights Realm will kick off its 2016-17 10th anniversary season with the world premiere of Sarah Delappe's The Wolves. Directed by Lila Neugebauer and featuring a company of ten female actors, DeLappe's award-winning debut play will be presented at The Realm's new home for the season The Duke on 42nd Street, August 29-September 24, 2016.

Kicking-off Adirondack Theatre Festival's (ATF) 22nd summer season of professional theatre is ISLAND SONG. Performances will be held at the Charles R. Wood Theater (207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls) June 21st - July 2nd at 7:30pm with a special matinee performance on June 29th at 2:00 pm. Armando Molina quite ably directs his very talented cast at a quick clip with Irwin's very words-heavy dialogue flowing non-stop from the quartet. I do not enjoy watching scary movies because I cannot remove myself from the horror that is being screened before my eyes. I can, however, appreciate a well done scary movie when thrilling realism draws me in to a point of no return. That is how I felt when I saw ArtsWest's My Mañana Comes.

Expertly juggling delicate entrees, fussy customers and beer-swilling line cooks, the young men face off with management and each other. As tensions reach a boiling point, how far will each of them go to see his own mañana come?
