The hit BBC drama series, “Happy Valley” will make its US and Canadian debut on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 on Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network.

Representing the collective inaugural offerings from Drama House Productions, LLC, and Spate Pictures, a special media and industry screening entitled "A Night of Three Short Films" will take place on Thursday, September 27th at 7:30 pm to celebrate the dynamic trio of inspiring dramatic films -- "Within" (produced by Spate Pictures in partnership with Drama House Productions and Zamorano Productions ); "El Abuelo" and "With Me" (produced by Drama House Productions). The filmmakers and cast will participate in a Q&A directly after the films are shown.

The University of Illinois has announced the appointment of Jeffrey Eric Jenkins as Professor of Theatre and Head of the Department of Theatre. Jenkins, currently the Director of Theatre Studies at New York University and Editor of the Best Plays Theater Yearbook, will assume his new duties on August 16, 2012.

Best Plays Theater Yearbook editor Jeffrey Eric Jenkins has accepted the position of Director of Theatre Studies in the Department of Drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
