The hour long spectacle, Hot Mess in Manhattan, grew out of a shorter incarnation of the cabaret produced by the New York Theatre Barn last month. The monthly series consists of 'off-beat tales of the city fiercely woven into pop, folk, and contemporary theatre jams,' press notes state.
