This month marks the Shakespeare Theatre Company's 10th year of celebrating the enduring power of Shakespeare's words with the aid of Washington's politicians, lobbyists and journalists. This year's Will on the Hill is marked by a performance of Speak the Speech, I Pray You!, an original play by Peter Byrne with assistance from The West Wing Writers Group. Will on the Hill takes place tonight, May 7, 2012, in Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW). The evening begins with a VIP cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m. and a buffet dinner at 8:30 p.m.

It was a starry Monday night at DC's Warner Theatre. Members of the local theater community came out from DC, Maryland and Virginia to celebrate the best and the brightest from last season. The evening was sprinkled with area favorites, a politician or two and even a respected film star.

Let's Move. summer enrichment series at the U.S. Department of Education's Lyndon Baines Johnson headquarters building in Washington, D.C. About 60 Pre-K - 3rd graders and staff from C.W. Harris Elementary School and 20 preschool children from the ED/HHS Children's Center will listen to the guests read stories and will participate in fitness activities.
