Arclight Films is proud to announce that LOUNGE ACT is having its World Market Premiere at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

Universal Pictures and CrowdRise today announced the launch of the upcoming 'The Trainwreck Comedy Tour,' presented by Live Nation, a tour of some of the greatest comics of this generation, which kicks off at Boston's The Wilbur on June 14, and concludes in Los Angeles at The Wiltern on June 21.

Directed by Terry Schreiber, Summer and Smoke will be performed at the T. Schreiber Theatre, located at 151 West 26th Street, on the 7th Floor from tonight, May 6 - June 6. Member of the press are invited as of Saturday, May 9th.

Signature Theatre Board Chairman Edward Norton and Board President Kate Roche Hope announced today that Founding Artistic Director James Houghton will step down next year at the end of the 2015-16 25th Anniversary Season. Signature has formed a search committee to lead a national search for its next Artistic Director, who it will welcome by July 1, 2016.

Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network, will premiere the original documentary My Own Man, from executive producer Edward Norton today, March 6, 2015.

Alejandro Inarritu, Nicolas Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris Jr. and Armando Bo have won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for BIRDMAN.

Emmanuel Lubezki has won the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for BIRDMAN.

The 87th Oscars will be held TONIGHT, Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre® at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, and will be televised live on the ABC Television Network at 7 p.m., ET/4 p.m., PT. It's that time of year again! Hollywood heavyweights are flocking to the Dolby Theatre this afternoon to attend the 87th Annual Academy Awards. Like the Golden Globes, presented earlier this year, the roster of nominees are primarily made up of film stars (well, duh!) more so than stage actors, but no fear - there are a considerable amount of this year's candidates with strong theatrical credits.
