Following multiple sold out performances for the 'Beyond The Blues' Winter Season, Columbia Festival of the Arts is starting to sell out their new Spring Festival, Viva La Vida.' Recent 2016 Rising Star Award-winning classical Spanish guitarist Mark Edwards has already sold out his 4:00pm performance at Oliver's Carriage House on April 17th. Executive Director Todd Olson has added a second, 7:00pm, performance for Edwards due to popular demand.
Simon Stephens' HARPER REGAN to Play T. Schreiber Theatre, 5/4-6/4

On a bright autumn night in Manchester, a woman named Harper Regan walks away from her job, her home, her husband and her daughter. The play named after her, 'Harper Regan' by English playwright Simon Stephens, stunningly reveals life on the cusp of the working class in modern British society. The author is the 2015 TONY Award-winner for best play ('The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time'). This 2008 play is a dramatic Odyssey navigating family, love and redemption. T. Schreiber Theatre, 151 West 26th Street, will present the piece May 4 to June 4, directed by Terry Schreiber.

Principal photography has begun on New Line Cinema's and Village Roadshow Pictures' thought-provoking drama 'Collateral Beauty,' being helmed by Oscar-winning director David Frankel ('Dear Diary,' 'The Devil Wears Prada'). The film has been slated for release on December 16, 2016.

'Natural Life' by Eduardo Ivan Lopez tells the tale of a death row inmate convicted of murder. But unlike the heroes of 'The Exonerated,' she is guilty of the crime. The play is inspired by a true incident in the 1980's. T. Schreiber Theatre, 151 West 26th Street, will present the play's world premiere March 2 to April 2, directed by Jake Turner.
LCT's Paige Evans Named Signature Theatre's New Artistic Director

Signature Theatre's Board of Trustees announced today the appointment of Paige Evans as Artistic Director beginning July 1, 2016. She succeeds Founding Artistic Director James Houghton, who will step down at the end of June. Ms. Evans comes to Signature Theatre from Lincoln Center Theater, where she has served as Artistic Director of LCT3 since its inception in 2008.

Following yesterday's report by The New York Post that the interactive supper club, QUEEN OF THE NIGHT, in the Diamond Horseshoe space of New York City's Paramount Hotel will close its doors this January, Randy Weiner, a Managing Member at Variety Worldwide, has issued a new statement to BroadwayWorld, stating the production intends to reopen in NYC.

The VH Theatrical Development Foundation proudly announces that after an acclaimed Off-Broadway engagement last fall, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! (formerly titled THE BRIGHTNESS OF HEAVEN), a new play by best-selling author Laura Pedersen, will open the 2015-2016 Theater Season at the 710 Main Street Theatre (formerly Studio Arena Theater) in Buffalo, New York, with a limited engagement scheduled to play tonight, September 17 - Sunday, October 4, 2015. Directed by Ludovica Villar-Hauser, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! is set in Buffalo, where Ms. Pedersen was born and raised.
