Village Players Performing Arts Center announces the hiring of new Artistic Director, Dan Taube, a long-time Chicago theater veteran. Taube is a graduate of the Acting program at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and also holds a MFA in Directing from The Theatre School of DePaul University.

Beth Falcone and Kait Kerrigan have received the 19th Annual Kleban Award. In honor of Edward Kleban, this award is given annually to both a librettist and a lyricist. The award is in the amount of $100,000 to each recipient.
