Hampstead Theatre has appointed a new Artistic Director. Edward Hall will lead the company from the end of January 2010. His inaugural season will be announced later this year, to open in autumn 2010.
Hampstead Theatre today announced that Edward Hall has been appointed Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Hampstead Theatre, taking over from Anthony Clark at the end of January. Hall's inaugural season will be announced later this spring/early summer to open in the autumn of that year.

Sam Mendes directs a transatlantic company of actors in a double-bill of classic works for The Bridge Project's inaugural 2009 season. The Mendes productions will launch BAM's 2009 Spring Season.
