Variety reports that Stephen Collins and Tony Roberts have joined the cast of Manhattan Theater Club's upcoming Broadway revival of THE ROYAL FAMILY.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced that the New York premiere of Lynn Redgrave's NIGHTINGALE and the New York premiere of Polly Stenham's THAT FACE will be a part of Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming 2009-2010 Off-Broadway season at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Signature Theatre's Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer today announced Signature's 20th anniversary season, saluting the two decades that have led the company to its position as one of the nation's leading forces in musical theater. New School Drama is partnering with the Drama League to have talented directors in its prestigious fellow program participate in its fall series of workshop productions of classic and contemporary works. It has been announced that famed director Hal Brooks is currently working with acting and directing students to prepare for a production of Stage Door (November 5-8).

The New School for Drama is pleased to present FIRST LOOK, a performance series featuring workshop presentations of classical and contemporary works. This year's FIRST LOOK performances will be directed by 3 Drama League Directing Fellows and include The Pillars of Society (October 15-18), written by Henrik Ibsen, Stage Door (November 5-8), written by Edna Ferber and George S. Kaufman and All's Well that End's Well (December 10-13) written by William Shakespeare. All are free and open to the public.

North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) has announced that one of the most critically acclaimed musicals of all time, SHOW BOAT, will perform from September 23 to October 12, 2008. Press Night is scheduled for September 25th at 7:30 pm. This project has been made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts as part of American Masterpieces: Three Centuries of Artistic Genius.
