2015 First Night Star Award winner Jessika Malone has been named associate artistic director of Actors Bridge Ensemble. Her new appointment was announced in late August by the company's producing artistic director - and 2016 First Night Honoree - Vali Forrister, the ABE Board of Directors and company members.

Mile Square Theatre, Hudson County's leading professional theatre, is proud to present the second production of its 2016 season - the world premiere of LONG GONE DADDY, written and performed by MST's playwright-in-residence Joseph Gallo.  Directed by MST artistic director Chris O'Connor, performances begin July 20 and run through August 7 in the company's new venue, located at 1400 Clinton Street in Hoboken.

PROFILE THEATRE has announced the titles for its 2014 In Dialogue Staged Reading Series, a program intended to explore and augment the mainstage season of plays by Sam Shepard. The plays are HUNGRY by Amy Claussen, BUENA VISTA by Edith Freni, and A LIE OF THE MIND by Sam Shepard. The readings will each have two performances, held at Profile's new home at Artists Repertory Theatre. Tickets are currently on sale at Profiletheatre.org.
