Outfest, the Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing, showcasing and protecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media, will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Platinum section as part of Outfest 2011: The 29th Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, which will be held July 7th to 17th, 2011.

St. Louis-based artist Peter Pranschke presents an installation of recent works that reflect on everyday life narratives. Pranschke often works on an intimate scale, using ballpoint pen or colored pencil, defining the edges of his drawings by cutting the sheets into irregular shapes. Exhibited collectively, his drawings present accounts of personal experiences, sometimes embellished, but rooted in biography.

The Sheldon Art Galleries presents Colors of Hope: Artwork from the Children's Art Village in the AT&T Children's Gallery, a multi-media exhibit featuring artwork by children from around the world who are served by the Children's Art Village (CAV), on view through June 11, 2011. The artwork featured in the exhibit will be for sale starting today, and will continue through the end of the exhibit. Prices will begin at $50 per matted piece of artwork. Proceeds will benefit the work of the Children's Art Village and the education programs of the Sheldon Art Galleries . In collaboration with Cinema St. Louis, the Sheldon Art Galleries presents the exhibition Vincentennial: The Legacy of Vincent Price from April 22 - August 6, 2011. A free opening reception at the Sheldon Art Galleries will be held on Friday, April 22, from 6 - 8 p.m. Cinema St. Louis will hold a Vincentennial film festival from May 19 - May 28, 2011.
