CORIOLANUS: FIGHT LIKE A BITCH Announces Cast

To live like a legend... sometimes you have to fight like a bitch. The country is at war, and the Senate cannot keep the peace within its own walls--- let alone on the battlefield. Enter Coriolanus: the country's most famous badass warrior. She returns home to face the greatest battle yet: to win the love of the people & run for office--- or face the dangerous consequences of defying society's expectations. CORIOLANUS, the rarely produced play by William Shakespeare about politics, power, and pride, is packed with daring physical combat and deliciously vicious language.

New Block of Tickets Released for Immersive KPOP Run This Fall

Due to popular demand, Ars Nova, in association with Ma-Yi Theater and Woodshed Collective, has released a new block of tickets and has added performances (September 16 & 30 at 3pm) to the world premiere of KPOP, a high-octane immersive event that gives you a backstage pass to a K-pop music factory.

George Takei, Gedde Watanabe, and More Headline ONE NIGHT ONLY: EWP MARKET

East West Players (EWP), the nation's longest-running professional theatre of color and the largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work, is pleased to announce its signature One Night Only season kick-off fundraising event, to be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017. The event is themed "EWP Night Market" and will include tasting stations hosted by local restaurants, followed by an evening of performances featuring Asian American Broadway stars George Takei (Allegiance and Pacific Overtures), Gedde Watanabe (Pacific Overtures), Melody Butiu (Here Lies Love), and more. Proceeds of One Night Only: EWP Night Market support EWP's artistic and educational programs.

Written by Lauren Yee, directed by Joshua Kahan Brody and produced in association with Goodman Theatre, 'King of the Yees' will continue through August 6, 2017.

George Takei to Return to ALLEGIANCE for Los Angeles Premiere

East West Players (EWP) and Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC) have announced that stage, television, and film star George Takei will lead the cast in the Los Angeles premiere of the Broadway musical Allegiance, which will be co-produced by EWP and JACCC by special arrangement with Sing Out, Louise! Productions and ATA, with performances at JACCC's Aratani Theatre in Los Angeles from February 21-April 1, 2018. Previews will run from February 21-25, with the Opening Night performance and reception on February 28.

Artists at Play presents Vincent Rodriguez III, C.S. Lee, and More in Reading of SEMINAR

Artists at Play (AAP) will host its annual Summer Salon on Saturday, July 1. The Summer Salon includes a champagne brunch and a special presentation of Seminar by Theresa Rebeck, directed by former East West Players Artistic Director, Tim Dang. The Groundlings presents Inaugural DIVERSITY FESTIVAL, 7/29 & 30

The Groundlings Theatre and School is proud to present its inaugural Diversity Festival on Saturday, July 29th and Sunday, July 30th celebrating and exploring diversity and inclusion. The weekend, co-sponsored by NBC and Nickelodeon, will include a series of panels and performances that will be free and open to the public. The festival will also host several diversity-related workshops exploring such topics as Embracing Your Diversity, Women of Color, Creating Diverse Characters, Queer-Prov and Teen Diversity. These two-hour workshops are $10 and registration will be open to the public.
