East West Players (EWP) and Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC) are pleased to announce that for the Los Angeles premiere of the Broadway musical Allegiance, stage and screen star George Takei will be joined by Broadway cast members Elena Wang as Kei Kimura, Greg Watanabe as Mike Masaoka, Scott Watanabe as Tatsuo Kimura, and Janelle Dote as Hanako.

Three finalists have been selected for Center Theatre Group's 2018 Richard E. Sherwood Award: Gina Young, Marsian De Lellis and Hana Kim. First Floor Theater open its sixth season with the world premiere of Leah Nanako Winkler's explosive satire of the classic white American family drama, TWO MILE HOLLOW, directed by Artistic Director Hutch Pimentel. Directed by Rogue's Artistic Director Sean T. Cawelti and written by Lisa Dring and Chelsea Sutton, Kaidan Project: Walls Grow Thin begins performances at a secret, Mid-City six-story warehouse built in 1927 (revealed after tickets are purchased) on October 5 and runs until November 5, 2017, with opening night on October 13.

Cornerstone Theater Company will present Magic Fruit, the culminating Bridge Show of the Hunger Cycle at The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles on select dates November 18 - December 10, 2017.
