NAATCO Presents A DREAM PLAY, 3/22-4/13

The OBIE Award-winning National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) -- now in its 23rd season of presenting classics and new works performed by Asian American actors -- will present August Strindberg's A DREAM PLAY in a new adaptation by Sung Rno and Andrew Pang, directed by Mr. Pang, with previews set to begin March 22 prior to an official opening night of March 27 at HERE, 145 Sixth Avenue (entrance on Dominick, 1 Block South of Spring).

Summit View School Features THE GIFTS OF LOVE in Fourth Annual Musical Theatre Fundraiser, 2/10

GIFTS OF LOVE: THE WORDS AND MUSIC OF STEPHEN SCHWARTZ, a benefit concert featuring premiere talent from the musical theatre world, is to take place on February 10. Jane Kaczmarek, Gregory Harrison and Diane Cary Star in Indie Chi Productions' THE SNAKE CAN, Now thru 2/24

Diane Cary, Jane Kaczmarek and Sharon Sharth star as three successful women who challenge themselves to find love and personal fulfillment in the middle years of life. Steven Robman directs the ensemble cast, which also includes Gregory Harrison, James Lancaster and Joel Polis, in the world premiere of The Snake Can by Kathryn Graf (Hermetically Sealed). Performances run tonight, January 19 through February 24, presented by Indie Chi Productions at the Odyssey Theatre in West Los Angeles.

Ma-Yi Theater Company Presents JESUS IN INDIA, Opening 2/21

The Ma-Yi Theater Company will present the East Coast premiere of JESUS IN INDIA, a new play by Lloyd Suh (American Hwangap), directed by Daniella Topol. The play will be performed Off-Broadway at The Theatre at St. Clements (423 West 46th Street, between 9th and 10th Aves) from Tuesday, February 12 through Sunday, March 10, 2013.
