Blue Note Jazz Club, one of the world's most iconic jazz and blues venues based in Greenwich Village, is proud to announce an impressive schedule of artists for August 2014.

World renowned jazz flutist and smooth jazz star, Alexander Zonjic and Friends, will play Apollo Night, a benefit concert to raise funds for the “New” McCree Theatre in Flint. The special musical event will help efforts to maintain the unique venue at 5005 Cloverlawn. The facility now houses the Theatre and many other community youth programs.

That quote could be a sub-title for composer/arranger/pianist Antonio Adolfo's brilliant new CD, Finas Misturas (fine mixtures) on AAM Music (AAM 0705). Drawing heavily on a musical history that combines his Brazilian heritage with his 40+ years in Jazz, Adolfo offers an outstanding set of four originals and six compositions by five highly notable Jazz Masters.

One World Theatre, Austin's premiere music venue known presenting diverse music and cultural arts in an up close and personal setting has announced its 2013 Summer Season.
