The National Youth Music Theatre is proud to announce their 2018 season, opening with a mini touring production of Super Hero at Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds as part of The Bury Festival before going on to Curve, Leicester and, finally, The Rose Theatre, Kingston for the International Youth Arts Festival.

Lyricist and actor Rory Sherman makes his London cabaret debut joined by West End stars including Lauren Samuels, Dev Joshi and accompanied by Ellie Verkerk. After five years offstage Rory Sherman returns in Pink- A Cabaret. Making his London cabaret debut, Rory explores identity, purpose, the contrasts of growing up in The North West and New Zealand and the ups and downs of charity work. Joining Rory from his first album Ms. A Song Cycle is Lauren Samuels (Romantics Anonymous, Bend it like Beckham), Dev Joshi (King Cowboy Rufus Rules The Universe) and accompanied by musical director Ellie Verkerk on piano.
With the success of last year's fantastical take on The Wind in the Willows, Kingston's Rose Theatre looks to another classic this year with Alice in Winterland, a new take on Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass.
Featuring magically evocative music and strikingly imaginative designs, puppetry and projections, this spectacular new stage production of Lewis Carroll's timeless books takes the audience into a fairy-tale land of wonder and adventure. Rose Theatre Kingston has just announced full casting for its Christmas show, Alice in Winterland, based on Lewis Carroll's timeless books Alice Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
Following the huge success of last year's festive hit The Wind in the Willows, Rose Theatre Kingston's most successful Christmas production to date, the theatre today announces its 2017 Christmas show Alice in Winterland. The play, based on Lewis Carroll's much loved Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, is adapted and directed by Ciaran McConville, following his acclaimed productions of The Wind in the Willows, A Christmas Carol and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, with music and lyrics by Eamonn O'Dwyer, and featuring a professional cast alongside a group of Rose Youth Theatre actors.
Lauren Pritchard, originated the role of Ilse in the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of Spring Awakening. She wrote the music and lyrics of the Off-Broadway hit, Songbird, (book by Michael Kimmel). You can hear Lauren singing on the radio with bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco, Lemaitre and artists like Matt Nathanson. You can see her perform as she tours across the country with her band...and you can also find her performing in the NEXT Concert Series: Bridge the Gap concert at Feinstein's/54 Below on June 6th.
Daniel Plimpton will be collaborating with Alicia Krakauer in NEXT Concert Series : Bridge the Gap (fun fact - they're cousins!) He is currently playing Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie at the Engeman Theatre in Long Island, and was previously seen in the national tours of Book of Mormon and Spring Awakening.
Now, in the next phase of this concert series, writers from both sides of the pond will unite to share their work-featuring brilliant talent from the New York theatre community.

'Ms.' is a brand new album of fourteen musical theatre songs inspired by women living with Multiple Sclerosis. Each song has been written by a different composer for a different West End actress.
