Perseverance Theatre has announced the World Premiere of William, Inc, by Alaska Native playwright Lucas Rowley. Director Randy Reinholz and actor Frank Henry Kaash Katasse, playing William, who collaborated last season on Katasse's play They Don't Talk Back, are joined by a cast and creative team of Perseverance veterans and newcomers. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival will reach a long-overdue milestone this month with the opening of the world-premiere production of Off the Rails, the 82-year-old Festival's first play by a Native writer. The NAACP Beverly Hills/Hollywood Branch's Theatre Viewing Committee announces nominations for the 25th Annual NAACP Theatre Awards. The awards include 32 categories, which encompass local and equity nominations. Winners will be announced in the first quarter of 2016.
