To life! The Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF just opened Sunday night, December 20 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway), wrapping up the 2015 Broadway season. FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, and choreographed by Hofesh Shechter. Based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same title, School of Rock: THE MUSICAL, with music from the movie, as well as an original score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, a book byJulian Fellowes and direction by Laurence Connor, made its World Premiere on Broadway last night, December 6, at the Winter Garden Theatre. Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced that the annual WTF Gala will be held at City Winery in New York City (155 Varick Street) on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 6:30 PM.  The evening will include cocktails, dinner, and live auction led by Charity Auctioneer Robbie Gordy of Christie's New York, along with special appearances and performances including: Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht (Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof), Kristolyn Lloyd (last season's Paradise Blue at WTF), New York's hottest new band Sky-Pony (led by Tony Award-nominated singer/actress Lauren Worsham and musician/writer Kyle Jarrow), star of stage and screen David Hyde Pierce and more!

Signature Theatre presents NIGHT IS A ROOM, written by Residency One playwright Naomi Wallace and directed byBill Rauch. NIGHT IS A ROOM, the third and final production of Wallace's residency, runs now through December 20, 2015 in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). On November 16 & 17, Performance Space 122 (PS122) is presenting two special nights of Eric Bogosian's 100 Monologues series to benefit PS122's move next year back into their home in the East Village.

The Public Theater presents Cymbeline, the second show of The Public's Free Shakespeare in the Park season at the Delacorte. Directed by Tony Award winnerDaniel Sullivan and featuring the previously announced Hamish Linklater as Posthumus Leonatus/Cloten and Lily Rabe as Imogen, Cymbeline runs through Sunday, August 23, and opened last night, August 10. The Public began the Free Shakespeare in the Park season with THE TEMPEST.

Broadway gal Amy Spanger and her partner, musical whiz-kid Kris Kukul, are proud to present THIS MUST BE THE PLACE, an evening of rock, pop, music theater, country, R&B and candid storytelling at Joe's Pub on August 24, 2015 at 7:30 PM. Tickets: $20.

Peter Morgan's The Audience, starring Helen Mirren and directed by Stephen Daldry, began previews on February 14 and opened on March 8 at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). To add to the festivities leading up to the Tony Awards, the free outdoor concert in the heart of the Theatre District celebrated Broadway with star appearances and exciting performances from over 20 new shows and long-running favorites, accompanied by a 12-piece live orchestra, including many of this year's 2015 Tony Award - nominated plays and musicals!
