Williamstown Theatre Festival (Mandy Greenfield, Artistic Director) has announced that the annual WTF Gala will be held at City Winery in New York City (155 Varick Street) on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 6:30 PM. The evening will feature appearances and performances by Tony and Emmy Award-winner Martin Short, two-time Tony Award-winner and Williamstown veteran Katie Finneran, the acclaimed PigPen Theatre Co., up-and-coming singer/songwriter Benjamin Scheuer (The Lion), and New York favorite Rebecca Naomi Jones, with more performers and participants to be announced.

Signature Theatre presents The Wayside Motor Inn by A.R. Gurney, directed by Lila Neugebauer. The production will now play through Sunday, September 28, 2014. The Theatre World Awards took place last night, June 2, at Circle in the Square (West 50th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue), home of the current Broadway revival of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill. 2014 Honorees for Outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway Debut Performance included: Paul Chahidi, Nick Cordero, Bryan Cranston, Mary Bridget Davies, Sarah Greene, Rebecca Hall, Ramin Karimloo, Zachary Levi, Chris O'Dowd, Sophie Okonedo, Emerson Steele, and Lauren Worsham. The 2014 Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theater Winner went to Celia Keenan-Bolger for her performance as Laura in The Glass Menagerie and the 2014 John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre Winner went to Christopher Plummer.

Next month TCG Publications will release 100 (Monologues), a collection of all of award-winning writer-actor Eric Bogosian's monologues from the series of acclaimed solo shows he wrote and starred in off-Broadway beginning in the mid '80's. The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the California premiere of Quiara Alegria Hudes' Water by the Spoonful, winner of the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Directed by Edward Torres, Water by the Spoonful will run April 12 - May 11, 2014 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run April 12 - April 16. Opening night is Thursday, April 17 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.TheOldGlobe.org, by phone at (619) 23-GLOBE, or by visiting the Box Office at 1363 Old Globe Way in Balboa Park.
