The National Theatre of Great Britain's epic WAR HORSE opened at The Memphis Orpheum on March 25th. The story is based on Michael Morpurgo's 1982 novel of the same name. The play premiered in London in 2007, opened on Broadway in 2011, and embarked on a National Tour in 2012. It is also the inspiration for Steven Spielberg's feature film.

The cast of Legally Blonde The Musical will be signing the new cast recording at Dress Circle (57-59 Monmouth Street, London WC2H 9DG) on Saturday 21 August at 12noon.

BroadwayWorld, the biggest theatre site on the web, have announced that they will launch a new set of UK theatre awards, to be presented in December 2010.

Today, July 13, the new British talent show 'Don't Stop Believing' launched at Altitude 360 in London, England. This talent competition will combine both dancing and singing challenges for the contestants. The show will be hosted by Emma Bunton, and judged by Tamsin Outhwaite, Duncan James, Anastacia and Charles 'Chucky' Klapow. BroadwayWorld brings coverage of the events below.

Richard Fleeshman will join the cast of the critically acclaimed Legally Blonde The Musical from 16 June to play Warner Huntington III opposite Sheridan Smith as Elle Woods, Jill Halfpenny as Paulette, Peter Davison as Professor Callahan and Alex Gaumond as Emmett. Fleeshman takes over the role of Warner Huntington III from Duncan James whose final performance will be 14 June 2010. Legally Blonde The Musical, which opened at the Savoy Theatre earlier this year, is currently booking until 20 February 2011.
