A LITTLE NEW MUSIC brought the house down on December 8th at Rockwell Table and Stage in LA with a landmark 10th showcase of fresh and exciting musical theater material. Special guest host John Tartaglia (Broadway's AVENUE Q and SHREK THE MUSICAL), brought his sparkling humor to this dynamic evening celebrating the next generation of musical theater artists. The World Premiere of STRAIGHT, a new play written by Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola and directed by Andy Sandberg (Application Pending) will open Off-Broadway this February at the Acorn Theatre @ Theater Row (410 W 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036).  Starring Jake Epstein and Thomas E. Sullivan, STRAIGHT begins previews on February 9, 2016, with an opening night currently scheduled for February 29, 2016. STRAIGHT will run through May 8, 2016. This November, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW presents an exciting lineup of the brightest talent from Broadway and beyond. Located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. (mostly)musicals returned to The E Spot Lounge on Monday, August 24, 2015 for LUCKY NUMBER 13 (a cabaret that COUNTS). The diverse musical selections all featured numbers, and were performed by an exponentially talented array of singers under the music direction of the award winning Gregory Nabours. The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) will give aspiring Toronto-area performers a chance to make their "big break" when the program presents Generation: The 2015 Summer Intensive Tour. The national non-profit training program, making a stop in Toronto for the very first time, will present an incredible roster of Broadway directors, performers, and industry insiders who will offer highly personalized musical theatre training and mentoring through unique, week-long performing arts intensive workshops for students of all ages, skill levels, and socio-economic backgrounds.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) is proud to announced extensions for six NYMF productions - CLAUDIO QUEST, SPOT ON THE WALL, WEARING BLACK, HELD MOMENTARILY, SONGS FOR THE FALLEN and TONYA AND NANCY: A ROCK OPERA. Additional extensions may be announced at a later date.

Tony Award winner John Targalia may be known for his work acting in the Broadway musicals AVENUE Q and SHREK: THE MUSICAL, but this summer he can be seen behind the curtain directing the NYMF musical CLAUDIO QUEST.

CLAUDIO QUEST, a super new musical, receives its New York premiere this July as part of the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival. With a book, music and lyrics Drew Fornarola and Marshall Pailet and direction by Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia (Avenue Q), CLAUDIO QUEST begins performances July 7, 2015 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Theatre and runs through July 14, 2015.  Individual tickets go on sale Monday, June 15 and can be purchased at www.claudioquest.com.
