The Actors Fund will host a Special Performance of SHREK THE MUSICAL on Sunday, March 15th at 8pm.

SHREK THE MUSICAL star Brian d'Arcy James will be at Planet Hollywood Times Square on Monday, March 2, 2009at 6:30 p.m. to donate memorabilia from SHREK THE MUSICAL and have his handprints captured in cement. (The mold of his handprints and memorabilia from the show will later be displayed in the restaurant.)

The DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd production of SREK THE MUSICAL opened at the Broadway Theatre in New York City on December 14, 2008. On March 24th, the highly anticipated Original Cast Recording will be released by Decca Broadway.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party is thrilled to present the return of composer John Bucchino, along with some very talented associates, in 'John Bucchino & Friends,' part of the Nightlife Award-winning series Broadway at Birdland. The event will take place on Monday, March 9 at 7pm. Joining John onstage will be Brian Stokes Mitchell, Ann Hampton Callaway, Daisy Prince, Brian Lane Green, Jessica Phillips, Lucas Steele, Jamison Stern, Joan Almedilla, Jacqueline Hester, cellist Yair Evnine, and composers Justin Paul and Benj Pasek.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2008 are being presented on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center?, and televised live by the ABC Television Network. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that much rumored third installment of the 'Meet The Parents' comedy franchise, 'Little Fockers', which was first announced two years ago, is finally taking 'baby steps' at Universal Pictures. The big news is that there will be a different creative team guiding this third feature.

Reprise Theatre Company presents Brian Stokes Mitchell Sings Broadway, a program especially created for Reprise. It will have one performance only on Monday, May 11 at 8 pm, at UCLA's Freud Playhouse.

On Friday, February 17th, the cast of Broadway's SHREK THE MUSICAL will perform on ABC?s ?The View.? Brian d?Arcy James and Sutton Foster will first perform ?I?ve Got You Beat? and then join the company (also featuring Daniel Breaker and John Tartaglia) in performing ?Freak Flag.? ?The View? airs nationally on ABC (channel 7, WABC in the tri-state area).
