Foster's likeness joined the ranks of Broadway royalty who have been honored with a caricature on the famous walls of Sardi's. Reuters News is reporting that the Tony-winning writer and star of IN THE HEIGHTS, Lin-Manuel Miranda has signed a development deal with DreamWorks Animation.

Preview performances began on Saturday, November 8, 2008. The cast album from Universal/Decca Broadway will be released March 24th, 2009.

SHREK THE MUSICAL star Brian d'Arcy James will be at Planet Hollywood Times Square on Monday, March 2, 2009at 6:30 p.m. to donate memorabilia from SHREK THE MUSICAL and have his handprints captured in cement. (The mold of his handprints and memorabilia from the show will later be displayed in the restaurant.)

The induction and awards dinner is scheduled for Thursday, June 18 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Special award honorees will be announced at a later date.
