Dreamlight Theatre Company in association with Third Coast Creative, announces the world-premiere of a new musical by Scott Burkell & Paul Loesel- The Extraordinary Ordinary
An amazing ensemble of Broadway talent will assemble on April 26th to perform the music of Will Reynolds, including: Jeannette Bayrdelle (Hair, The Color Purple) Sara Jean Ford (Finian's Rainbow, Anyone Can Whistle',) Jeremy Jordan (West Side Story, Rock of Ages), Carrie Manolakos (Wicked, Mama Mia) and Zachary Prince (Jersey Boys).

Tony Award® nominee and Emmy Award® winner Liz Callaway (Cats, Merrily We Roll Along, Baby, Miss Saigon, The Look of Love), leads an ensemble that includes Doug Kreeger (Les Miserables, Rooms: A Rock Romance), Liz McCartney (South Pacific, Mamma Mia, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Phantom of the Opera), and Jennifer DiNoia (Wicked) as Dreamlight Theatre Company kicks off its 2010 Bright Lights concert series by celebrating the work Scott Burkell and Paul Loesel This one-night event will showcase work from both of their full length musicals (Ella Minnow Pea, The Extraordinary Ordinary) as well as a host of new material.
Dreamlight Theatre Co. will kick off its 2010 Bright Lights series with WORKS IN PROGRESS: The Songs of Burkell & Loesel on Monday, March 1st at 7:00pm. The event will feature Broadway's Liz Callaway (Cats, Baby, Miss Saigon, Merrily We Roll Along), Jennifer DiNoia (Wicked), Liz McCartney (South Pacific, Mama Mia, Thoroughly Modern Millie), and Doug Kreeger (Les Miserables, Rooms). Accompanists will be Allison Seidner (cello) and Andy Jones (percussion).
WORKS IN PROGRESS the songs of Burkell & Loesel will play Monday, March 1st at 7:00pm at The Triad located at 158 West 72nd St - 2nd Floor (between Broadway & Columbus).

Josh Young presents Cutting-Edge Composers, A New Generation of Musical Theater Songwriters
The concert, dubbed 'A Night with The Ladies', will feature the work of five incredible women: Deborah Abramson & Amanda Yesnowitz, Katie Thompson, and Lindsay Baker & Amanda Jacobs. Deborah Abramson & Amanda Yesnowitz will present songs from their piece, The History of War, for which Chip Zien provided the book. Katie Thompson's work as a songwriter has been featured in Monday Night's New Voices, and can be heard on either of her two albums, What I've Done Right and KT Live. Lindsay Baker & Amanda Jacobs are the writing team behind the Broadway bound musical, Pride & Prejudice.
