The Bostonian Society has announced a world premiere production that will bring history to life. The new play Blood on the Snow, by Patrick Gabridge, will transform The Old State House into a unique historical stage this spring, reexamining the Boston Massacre and shedding light on its ties to contemporary events.

The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance will hold a free workshop performance of HELLDRIVERS OF DAYTONA in the Oscar G. Brockett Theatre on January 15th-16th at 7:30pm. Serenbe Playhouse and AIR Serenbe (the artist in residence program at Serenbe) are proud to announce a new play development program unlike any other: the 1st Annual New Territories Playwriting Residency, a Writers-in-Residence Program for Outdoor, Site-Specific Plays. New Territories will bring three playwrights to Chattahoochee Hills, GA to develop new outdoor, site-specific theatre from January 17-30, 2016.

The Matrix Theatre Company honors Black History Month with the Los Angeles premiere of The Mountaintop, directed by Obie Award-winner Roger Guenveur Smith and starring Larry Bates and Danielle Mone Truitt. Recipient of London's 2010 Olivier Award, Katori Hall's gripping and often humorous re-imagining of events the night before the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. takes on new meaning with the advent of the Black Lives Matter movement.
