Florida Studio Theatre to Stage THE EXONERATED This April

The Exonerated tells the haunting stories taken from interviews as well as from the actual court transcripts and interviews of forty former death row inmates. All were eventually proven innocent and released after spending as much as twenty two years behind bars.

Kathleen Turner and More to Join Dr. Ruth for LOVE 2.0 at Symphony Space

On Sunday, January 29, 2017, the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust joins with the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene to honor the memory of Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel, who died on July 2, 2016, by presenting a community reading of his landmark memoir NIGHT, which tells of his experience in German concentration camps with his father during the Holocaust.

Mark St. Germain's solo play about celebrity sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer received it's World Premiere at Barrington Stage Company in June 2012. The production was met with much success and went out to play at TheatreWorks Hartford before moving to New York. In October of 2013, Becoming Dr. Ruth received its Off-Broadway premiere at the Westside Theatre. Actress Debra Jo Rupp, who originated the role Off-Broadway, received both Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award Nominations for her portrayal of Dr. Ruth.

PGA Arts Center to Present Live Theatre in Palm Beach Gardens in 2017

Palm Beach Gardens will add live theatre to its ever-growing cultural landscape when the PGA Arts Center opens its doors in late January.  Veteran producers Philip Roger Roy and Dana Matthow have taken a multi-year lease on the PGA Cinemas, located at 4076 PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens, and are in the process of converting two of the building's six auditoria to accommodate live productions. The two theatres will seat 260 and 280 patrons respectively.  They plan to adapt a third space - which will seat approximately 160, and be available for rentals - within the next year.

Dr. Ruth Degman-Reed recarved her name in the publishing world with the release of 'Ladybugs Don't Dance' (published by AuthorHouse) in 2013 (also available as a read-along with Dare To Dream, audiobook published by Spoken Book Publishers, ISBN-1-60031-013-3, phone 610-941-9999). This book teaches readers about the importance of friendship and how to handle disagreements and conflict, find support and persevere and to find resolution. A new marketing campaign is launched for this now.

HAND TO GOD and More to Kick Off B Street Theatre's 26th Season

B Street Theatre has announced the first three productions in their 26th Mainstage Season. This season will feature James Goldman's contemporary classic The Lion in Winter; Steven Dietz's unique romance Bloomsday; and the Tony-nominated play Hand to God by Robert Askins.
