America's favorite holiday tradition will once again kick off the season of joy as the 89th Annual MACY'STHANKSGIVING DAY PARADE returns to march down the streets of New York on Thursday, November 26. Many Broadway casts are taking part in the festivities (including The Wiz Live, Something Rotten and more) and you can check out photos from their rehearsals below!

 Entertainment superstar Trey Songz will be performing on a float at this year's 89th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.  America's biggest holiday tradition will once again kick off the season as it returns to march down the streets of New York City on Thursday, November 26th.   As millions celebrate this day of Thanksgiving with family and friends, more than 8,000 participants including clowns, balloon handlers, and marching bands will travel through Manhattan to the sound of  this iconic catchphrase Let's Have a Parade.   With more than 3.5 million spectators and more than 50 million television viewers nationwide, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is the nation's most celebrated and anticipated holiday treat.   

The festivities will be featured both on NBC and CBS, each providing performances from different Broadway companies. BroadwayWorld brings you a roundup of what to watch, where and when, below!

The series will introduce new characters. Providing the voices of the animated characters are the movie's stars: Dove Cameron as Mal, Sofia Carson as Evie, Cameron Boyce as Carlos, Booboo Stewart as Jay, Mitchell Hope as Ben, Brenna D'Amico as Jane, Sarah Jeffery as Audrey and Dianne Doan as Lonnie.
