Zeitgeist Stage presents the original Wedekind play in a new adaptation. Spring Awakening, written in the 1890's, is Frank Wedekind's ground breaking play about adolescent sexuality that is the most censored play in theater history, not getting produced as originally written for 75 years. The show examines the lives of teenagers in provincial Germany as their sexual awakenings are repressed by the conservative society of their parents.

Forrest and Cochrane Perform At Broadway Baby Bistro

On Friday April 11th and April 18th, 2008 Sheldon Forrest (pianist) and Douglas Cochrane (vocals) will be performing at the The Music Box Room at Broadway Baby Bistro. This is the last in a series of three 'entertainment empire retrospectives' (the first two being the James Bond and the Muppet franchises)--covering seven decades of Disney film music from 1937's 'Snow White' to 2007's 'Enchanted,' featuring songs written by Sammy Cahn, Sammy Fain, Peggy Lee, Roger Miller, Henry Mancini, Randy Newman, Barry Mann, Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz, Elton John, and Phil Collins.

A matinee reprise performance at Broadway Baby of a show that formerly ran at Don't Tell Mama, with modifications and improvements. A 40-year survey of the Jim Henson franchise from Sesame Street to the Muppet Show to the Muppet Movie and Labyrinth.
