Former "American Idol" Contestant Douglas Cochrane, singer with German Rodriguez, as guest singer and Sheldon Forrest as musical director present "Movin' Right Along: Music of the Muppets" at Don't Tell Mama Cabaret Theater (343 W 46th St.) on Friday December 28 at 7PM

Presented as a revue of the best songs from 30+ years of the Muppet Franchise, be "cute-and-cuddly for this holiday season, with no diminution in musical quality with  the best songs from 30-odd years of "Sesame Street," the "Muppet Show" for TV, and the various Muppet Movies (The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, Muppets Take Manhattan, A Very Muppet Christmas, John Denver Muppet Christmas Special, Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, Labyrinth) featuring music and lyrics by Jim Henson, Joe Raposo, Jeff Moss, Paul Williams, Barry Mann, David Bowie, and others.

"Much of this music is light and charming, none of it can be dismissed as throwaway fluff," declare press notes, "many songs are surprisingly thoughtful and unusually touching; while those that are written simply to be fun and entertaining show remarkable skillfullness in their construction and could justifiably be called ingenious."

Tickets are $15 general (or $12 for members of MAC or Cabaret Hotline, plus Cast Party VIPs); there is also a house 2-drink minimum. For ticket call 212-757-0788 after 4PM.
