The HIV Experience Resources Organization (HERO) hasannounced that on October 26th 2015 at 8pm it will present, in partnership with Broadway Cares, Equity Fights AIDS, and in association with Stage48, the second annual "BROADWAY AND BALLET, HERO AWARDS," at Stage 48, 605 West 48th Street in Manhattan. The event will benefit HERO, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that helps newly diagnosed and people living with HIV/AIDS. www.hivhero.org

The Tony Award-winning musical KINKY BOOTS will celebrate its landmark 1,000th performance on Broadway tonight, August 26th, with a ticket giveaway and 'fabulous footwear' contest for fans.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots will celebrate its landmark 1000th performance on Broadway on Wednesday, August 26th with a ticket giveaway and "fabulous footwear" contest for fans.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Emmy Award-winner and Grammy Award nominee Wayne Brady will take over the coveted role of 'Lola' in the Tony Award®-winning musical Kinky Boots at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) on November 21, 2015. Brady will succeed Broadway's original (and current) award-winning 'Lola,' Billy Porter. Porter has played over 800 performances in the role and won both a Tony Award and a Grammy Award for his work in the production. His final historic performance in Kinky Boots will be November 20, 2015.

On Thursday, July 9, 2015, BROADWAY SERVES kicked off its summer-long partnership with the Children's Aid Society. Child volunteers from the theater community teamed up with CAS' kindergarten-3rd grade campers to fill and decorate toiletry bags. These toiletries will be donated to formerly homeless residents currently living in an Urban Pathways facility. Those signature, red high heels are headed down under! BroadwayWorld has learned that the Tony-winning musical Kinky Boots will make its Australian premiere at Her Majesty's Theatre, Melbourne, from October 2016.
