?Steve Harvey, host of the EMMY-winning Steve Harvey talk show and Family Feud and star of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, will helm a roaring return to Las Vegas for the 2016 Neighborhood Awards Weekend at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Being held Friday July 22nd - Sunday July 24th, the weekend will include the incredible Maxwell, making his first-ever musical appearance at the Neighborhood Awards, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees The O'Jays, Erykah Badu, Charlie Wilson, Jill Scott, Keith Sweat, and Doug E. Fresh. Also joining Harvey for the three day celebratory weekend are the Steve Harvey Morning Show's Shirley Strawberry, Nephew Tommy, Carla Ferrell, and Junior, Sheryl Underwood, DJ Mars and many more to-be-announced celebrities.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), in collaboration with the Horizon Foundation for New Jersey, is proud to announce the 2015 Horizon Foundation Sounds of the City line up. Beginning July 9th, the series will offer attendees a taste of what they can expect to hear on NJPAC's main stage during the 2015-16 season. Featuring some of the hottest artists from the worlds of hip-hop, R&B, pop, reggae, Latin music, funk and world music, the free concert series runs from 5-9pm each Today night. Horizon Foundation Sounds of the City is made possible through a collaboration between NJPAC and the Horizon Foundation for New Jersey and their mutual dedication to providing the community with access to enriching resources, including exceptional entertainment.

'When Black Boys Die,' written and directed by William Electric Black, is a new drama about a teenage girl's journey as she tries to understand the madness of gun violence that has killed her brother and consumed her mother (and so many other mothers who have also lost their sons to inner city violence). It is the second in a series of five plays by William Electric Black, to be collectively called 'GUNPLAYS,' that address inner city violence and guns. Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave (East Village), will present the work tonight, March 5 to 22, directed by the author.

Las Vegas headliners and Australian singing sensations Human Nature were part of musical history last night, Tuesday, June 10, as they took the stage during The Apollo Theater's Spring Gala, which celebrated 80 years of iconic performers and legendary performances. Departing from its tradition of inducting legends into the Apollo Hall of Fame, this year's Gala celebrated the eight decades of artistic brilliance that have been presented on the Apollo stage since 1934. Human Nature represented the Motown era during the star studded event, performing a 15-minute hit bound set featuring tracks such as “My Girl”, “Ooh Baby Baby” and “Ain't No Mountain High Enough.” The event was hosted by Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated entertainer Wayne Brady.
