Everyone looks forward to Symphony Space's annual Spring Festival, highlighted by the Wall to Wall marathon, and this may be the most provocative one yet. Sleeping Around, Symphony Space's 2014 installment, celebrates the culture and notoriety of New York City's hotels and their denizens, from the Algonquin to the Chelsea. It opens today, April 26 with a concert by Barbara Cook, and runs through May 21, with a tasty menu of concerts, readings, and films. Wall to Wall Cabaret takes place on Saturday, May 3 (5 - 11 pm).

The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW) is pleased to celebrate women working in theatre with four special events in the month of May. The events include the oral history of Tony-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth on May 5th, a benefit performance of Forever written and performed by award-winner Dael Orlandersmith on May 6th at HERE, May 8th is the second annual advocacy march through Times Square, and May 12th is a networking event on Theatre and Other Careers.

Beautiful Soup Theater will present the World Premiere workshop production of Steven Carl McCasland's Little Wars. The limited engagement will play Roy Arias Stage II Theatre beginning tonight, April 23rd. Beautiful Soup is best known for reviving lost or oft-forgotten works, but occasionally presents workshops of new plays and musicals.

49TH Parallel in association the multi-award-winning NoHo Arts Center Ensemble (NoHo ACE), are thrilled to present the Los Angeles premiere of a new play, BE A GOOD LITTLE WIDOW, written by Bekah Brunstetter (OOHRAH!) and directed by Sara Botsford. BE A GOOD LITTLE WIDOW will preview tonight, April 17 at 8pm and will open on Friday, April 18 at 8pm and run for six weeks through Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the NoHo Arts Center, 11136 Magnolia Blvd. (at Lankershim) in North Hollywood.

Due to tremendous buzz, Beautiful Soup Theater's premiere production of Steven Carl McCasland's LITTLE WARS has moved up to the Roy Arias Stage IV. Performances begin Wednesday, April 23 at 7 PM.

The League of Professional Theatre Women is pleased to present Award-winning actress BEBE NEUWIRTH for the next Oral History interview on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Bruno Walter Auditorium of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts on 65th Street & Amsterdam Avenue. Ms. Neuwirth will be interviewed by arts journalist Patrick Pacheco. Admission is free, but seats will be on a first-come-first-seated basis.

The OBIE, Lucille Lortel and Drama Desk Award-winning Peccadillo Theater Company, in association with La Femme Theatre Productions, will present the New York City premiere of the original version of William Inge's A Loss of Roses beginning May 7th at Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th Street, NYC, and continuing through June 7th, 2014. This year's installment, Sleeping Around: The Cultural Lives of New York's Hotels, may be the most provocative yet. Running from April 26 to May 21, the monthlong festival celebrates New York's landmark hotels, their occupants, and the lengendary boites that nurtured and sustained the evergreen songs and performers of cabaret. Sleeping Around also credits New York's hotels as incubators for film, classical music, and literature, with programs devoted to Andy Warhol, Virgil Thomson, and Dorothy Parker.

Two of France's most revered artists will make rare New York City appearances this Spring. Singer, songwriter and former first lady of France Carla Bruni will perform at Town Hall on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 7:30pm. Bruni is touring North America in support of her fourth album, Little French Songs, released in 2013.
