THE KILLER ANGELS, LYLE FINDS HIS MOTHER and More Set for Lifeline Theatre's 2013-14 Season

Lifeline Theatre Artistic Director Dorothy Milne and the artistic ensemble announce their 2013-2014, season of Big Stories, Up Close. In its award-winning and audience-acclaimed style, Lifeline's thirty-first season will feature six unforgettable books brought to life: sprawling, classic stories as well as thrilling contemporary titles, as Lifeline retains its reputation for fresh, imaginative interpretations of beloved favorites and embraces the challenges of new, thought-provoking works. Additionally, Lifeline Theatre will produce the seventeenth annual Fillet of Solo Festival and the Georgette Heyer Reading Series.

Lifeline Theatre to Present CLICK, CLACK BOO! A TRICKY TREAT, 10/19-11/24

Click, Clack, Boo! A Tricky Treat runs Saturday, Oct. 19 - Sunday, Nov. 24 at Lifeline Theatre, 6912 N. Glenwood Ave. Press opening is Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. Regular performance times are Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. (Previews are Saturday, Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m.) Ticket prices are $15 and may be purchased at the Lifeline Theatre Box Office, 773.761.4477, or by visiting www.lifelinetheatre.com.

BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the longest operating performance venue in lower Manhattan, presents two TheatreworksUSA productions: Junie B. Jones, performing today, May 19 at 3PM and Click, Clack, Moo, performing on Saturday, June 1 at 1:30PM. Both shows are part of BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center's Family Theater Season, featuring plays, musicals, puppetry, concerts and dance for all ages.

DM Playhouse Friday Funday Features STONE SOUP Today

The Des Moines Community Playhouse presents 'Stone Soup,' today, May 17. This story is part of the 2012-13 season of Friday Funday, a creative participatory story theatre program for children ages 4-6. Performances are at the Playhouse, Today, May 17, at 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 1:30 PM. Shows are approximately 45 minutes in length. Admission is $5 per person, adults and children. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling the Playhouse box office at 515-277-6261.

Lifeline Theatre's KidSeries presents Duck for President, a family musical based on the book by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin*. The production is adapted by ensemble member James E. Grote, with music and lyrics by George Howe, and directed by ensemble member Shole Milos; the same team that created Lifeline's popular adaptations of the beloved Cronin/Lewin books, Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type (2003); Giggle, Giggle, Quack (2005); and Dooby Dooby Moo (2009).
