Lisa Yaeger's brand new show JERSEY GIRL debuted Friday June 2nd to a full house. One more show, one week away, Wednesday June 21st, 7pm at the Metropolitan Room.

Tonight, Barbra Streisand plays an intimate club in LA...in the guise of world renowned impressionist Steven Brinberg as SIMPLY BARBRA at Rockwell Table and Stage, 1714 N. Vermont Avenue, LA 90027, in the heart of Los Feliz Village. 

Comedian-singer, Gary Northrup, brings his alter ego, Mildred Scrodum, to the Metropolitan Room in NYC on June 9th at 9:30pm for one performance of "An Evening with Mildred Scrodum and Friends" starring Gary Northrup, Hanna Burke and Joshua Bennett. Northrup's Mildred is a charming and hilarious character based on real women from Gary Northrup's childhood in the Bible Belt, where he believed there was a wild woman even in the most stalwart of Christian ladies. Mildred lives in the "One Last Time Trailer Park."

Michael Rouse stars in the world premiere of the one-man musical, SUPERHERO, which is the first musical to play in Southwark Playhouse's Little space. Below, watch Rouse sing 'You Got Me' from the show!

Legendary Theater District nightspot Don't Tell Mama is announcing the third annual 'Mama's Next BIG Act!' a bigger than average, 10-week competition that mixes styles and genres. Beginning Tuesday June 13 at 7:30 and running for 10 weeks on Tuesdays through August 29. (No contest on June 20 and July 4)

Hanson Award winner IRA LEE COLLINGS returns to Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street, NYC to celebrate Gay Pride Month with his new show LIFE IS A SONG - SO WHY NOT SING IT! on June 2nd, 12th and 26th at 7 PM. The evening includes songs heard on the popular TV show 'Your Hit Parade.' Ira Lee adds: 'and some weed songs too.'  He will be joined by Musical Director John M. Cook on piano.  Sally Darling will direct.
