Mikki Sodergren joins the cast of NEXT in Concert: Bridge the Gap Volume 2 which is set for June 7th at Don't Tell Mama NYC at 7PM.

Mikki Sodergren is a young soprano who can effortlessly glide between genres. Actively performing opera, theatre, jazz and choral music, Mikki enjoys a diverse musical career. She is passionate about new music and has been involved in the creation of several new works. Some favorites include Ali (Kerrigan & Lowdermilk's The Bad Years), Erika Eiffel (Erika's Wall), Brooke (Kamala Sankaram's tech-opera Looking at You), and Sarah in the award-winning operatic horror VR short, The Parksville Murders, Ep.1. Mikki has headlined with the Jacksonville Symphony, the New Jersey Festival Orchestra and the Savannah Philharmonic. She is currently serving as Artistic Director of the American Traditions vocal Competition in Savannah, Georgia. www.mikkisodergren.com.

The NEXT concert series has run both in the US and in the UK as a platform for new musical theatre writers to share their work.

In this volume, writers from both sides of the pond will unite to share their work-featuring brilliant talent from the New York theatre community, and new songs centered around the hashtag and the mission of this series: #songstoheal.

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the families of the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing. Use the hashtag, #songstoheal to follow along this journey!

Mikki completes the cast that includes: Chad Burris, Joe Chisholm, Mike Houston, Alicia Krakauer, Marissa Koeller, Elyssa Mactas, Gigi Marie, Jessica Mortellaro, Magnus Tonning Riise, Ariana Sepulvéda, Josephine Spada, Stephanie Turci, Mathieu Whitman, and Nat Zegree!

The evening is co-produced by NEXT's original founder, Alicia Krakauer, and Megan Minutillo.

NEXT Concert Series: Bridge the Gap will play June 7th at 7pm at Don't Tell Mama NYC. Don't Tell Mama is located at 343 W 46th St, New York, NY 10036.
