Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced additional casting on both the Main Stage and Nikos Stage as well as special events for the 2014 Season. On the Main Stage: Diana DiMarzio, Rick Holmes, and Timothy Shew join the WTF Resident Company, appearing in both June Moon and The Visit.

The New Group opened the New York premiere of Annapurna by Sharr White, directed by Bart DeLorenzo and featuring Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman, on April 21. The limited Off-Broadway engagement will officially end its run on June 1.

Fort Wayne Civic Theatre has announced that the featured speaker for the 5th Annual Northeast Indiana Playwright Festival will Pulitzer Prize Winning Playwright Donald Margulies. Margulies' award winning play Dinner With Friends ran on Broadway earlier this year.

Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Donald Margulies and directed by James O'Neil, Collected Stories is a two-person play featuring Susan Clark (Emmy Winner - 'Babe Zaharias,' 'Webster,' Shaw Festival and the Taper) as a brilliant, direct writing professor and Meghan Andrews (Frost/Nixon and The Grapes of Wrath on Broadway) as her eager-yet-talented student. Opening tonight, May 28th at 7:00 p.m., Collected Stories runs Wednesdays through Sundays until June 21st.

Glenn Close, John Lithgow, Lindsay Duncan, Bob Balaban, Clare Higgins, and Martha Plimpton will star in a new Broadway production of Edward Albee's A DELICATE BALANCE this fall at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). The production, which will be directed by Pam MacKinnon, begins previewsMonday, October 20 and plays an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 22, 2015. Opening night is Thursday, November 20.

Tangent Theatre Company, in association with AboutFACE Ireland, announces their 4th NEWvember New Plays Festival - a showcase of original plays by promising playwrights to be held at the Carpenter Shop Theater, their 50-seat performance space in center of Tivoli village. The NEWvember Festival will showcase these works over a four-day weekend, presented via rehearsed readings and featuring established actors and directors bringing these works to life.

The Board of Governors of Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre announced its 2014-15 season, consisting of five productions - a vibrant mix of drama, comedy and musicals. The season opens on September 5, 2014 and runs through June 6, 2015, and will once again employ all local actors and crews.

Well, yes and no. I'm sure there is a barista in Portland who is currently recording a missive bemoaning mass media's attempt to co-opt the indie subculture, but most people who do podcasts well are incredibly informed and passionate about their specific topics.

Dinner With Friends, the second production at the Laura Pels Theatre in our 2013-2014 Season brought Donald Margulies' Pultizer Prize-winning play back to the New York stage. This production played a total of 99 performances from first preview on January 17 through closing night on April 13.
