The 6 p.m. Sunday, October 17 performance of threesixtyº entertainment's spectacular stage production of PETER PAN will be a special fundraising performance to benefit the Festival of Children Foundation, Orange County Museum of Art, South Coast Repertory and Orange County Performing Arts Center. J M Barrie's classic story is being performed at the Center through November 21 in a state-of-the-art theater pavilion.

InProximity Theatre Company is proud to announce that Dorothy Lyman will be directing the upcoming production of SIGHT UNSEEN by Donald Margulies (Time Stands Still, Collected Stories, Brooklyn Boy, Dinner With Friends, God of Vengeance, Pitching to the Star, Nocturne, Luna Park, Found a Peanut, The Loman Family Picnic). The show will feature Laurie Schaefer, Jonathan Todd Ross, Brent Vimtrup, and Bryn Boice. Designers include James J. Fenton (scenic), Lisa Soverino (Lighting), Court Watson (Costumes), and Jeremy Lee (sound). The Production Stage Manager is Jasmin Sanchez.

West Palm Beach's Palm Beach Dramaworks, will launch its 11th Anniversary Season with 'Candida,' the acclaimed play by the Nobel Prize winning playwright George Bernard Shaw on Friday, October 8th (8PM) at their downtown theatre (322 Banyan Boulevard.) The fall season finally kicked off this past week with a pair of period ensemble pieces from Britain, both imported by New York's two big nonprofit companies, and both receiving solid B+ grades from StageGrade: Brief Encounter at the Roundabout's Studio 54 and The Pitmen Painters at the Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Neither got quite the smash-hit reviews that might have been expected--the Kneehigh's extravagant adaptation of Brief Encounter got raves (and a StageGrade A) when it ran last year at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn, but there were a few more dissenting voices on its Broadway transfer. And Lee Hall's miners-as-artists drama, The Pitmen Painters, was not as unanimously adored as its London notices might have promised.
