Murder, mayhem and poetry. Award-winning, visionary playwright Murray Mednick brings his unique sensibility to the hair-raising, sometimes violent, and often hilarious exploits of medieval poet Francois Villon in a world premiere production directed by the playwright. Villon opens on Feb. 15, presented by Padua Productions in a guest production at the Odyssey Theatre.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) announces Heather Burns ('Bored to Death') will join the company in the role of 'Beth'. Maria Dizzia departed the production before rehearsals began, for personal reasons. Dinner with Friends by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies, directed by Tony Award® winner Pam MacKinnon will also feature Marin Hinkle as 'Karen', Darren Pettie as 'Tom,' and Jeremy Shamos as 'Gabe.'

Primary Stages continues their 29th season with The Tribute Artist, a new world premiere comedy written by and starring Tony-nominee Charles Busch (The Divine Sister, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Olive and the Bitter Herbs). Directed by Busch's long-time collaborator Carl Andress (The Divine Sister, The Third Story), the cast will also feature Mary Bacon (Harrison, TX...; Giant), Cynthia Harris (Lost in Yonkers, 'Mad About You'), Julie Halston (Olive and the Bitter Herbs, Anything Goes) Keira Keeley (Angels in America, The Glass Menagerie), and Jonathan Walker (The Assembled Parties, The Divine Sister).
