Second Stage Theatre will present the new musical THE BLUE FLOWER written by Jim Bauer and Ruth Bauer, with choreography by Chase Brock and direction by Will Pomerantz, this fall. The new Broadway musical, COME FLY AWAY, conceived, choreographed, and directed by Tony Award-winner Twyla Tharp and featuring vocals by Frank Sinatra, will makes its Los Angeles premiere at the Pantages Theatre for a strictly-limited 2 week engagement, October 25 - November 6, 2011.

NETworks Presentations presents a new production of Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical SOUTH PACIFIC, which launches its national tour at the Boston Opera House for one week only, today through October 2, 2011.

Two-time Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bobby Cannavale will star as Nick Arnstein opposite Lauren Ambrose, who will star as Fanny Brice, in the first Broadway revival of FUNNY GIRL since the 1964 original production. FUNNY GIRL, which features music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Bob Merrill and book by Isobel Lennart, will be directed by Tony Award-winner Bartlett Sher. FUNNY GIRL will play at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles from January 15 through February 26, 2012. According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for Daily Mail, the Barbican production of SOUTH PACIFIC, which runs through October 1, might be making a West End transfer following the UK tour. Additional details have not yet been announced.

Another page has been written in Atlanta's Ballet's historic Twyla Tharp chapter. The legendary choreographer has officially titled her world premiere ballet with the company: 'Twyla Tharp's The Princess and the Goblin.'

Casting has been announced for the Denver return engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. Denver's most eagerly awaited stage production will return to The Buell Theatre from Wednesday, November 2 to Sunday, December 4.
