Bucks County Playhouse will present the fall 2016 Visiting Artists Series. Entertainment events by guest performers ranging from music concerts to theater for young audiences will take place throughout September and October in the luxuriously renovated historic Bucks County Playhouse.

Local dignitaries, elected officials and Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) supporters gathered by the river and participated in a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by Tony Award-winning Broadway producers who now manage the Playhouse -- Alexander Fraser, Producing Director ('Kinky Boots', 'The Normal Heart') and Robyn Goodman, Executive Producer ('Avenue Q', 'In the Heights'). They recognized Bridge Street Foundation's Sherri and Kevin Daugherty, who are gifting this $3 million final phase of renovations to the Playhouse. Scroll down for photos!

Bucks County Playhouse welcomes 'Vocalosity' September 23 - October 2, an all-new live concert event from the creative mind of artistic producer Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect, The Sing-Off) that takes a cappella to a whole new level! This appearance at Bucks County Playhouse marks the re-launching of the show's North American tour.

Identity Theater, dedicated to providing a place for disabled actors to work will present a reimagining of Shakespeare's final play, The Tempest, running tonight, September 9, through September 18 at The Underground Theater of El Barrio's Artspace.

Robert Kotonly of The RRazz Room is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Bucks County Playhouse when they present TV and Broadway star Michele Lee at the theater in New Hope.

Dr. Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of the Arts announces the four local area elementary schools that have been selected to participate in the inaugural Disney Musicals in Schools program. Participating in the 2016 – 2017 school year are Bonneville Elementary (Orange County), Winegard Elementary (Orange County), Lake Orienta Elementary (Seminole County) and Kissimmee Elementary (Osceola County). At an Orientation event in January 2017, these schools will select the a Disney musical of their choice from the “KIDS” licensing collection. The rehearsals will officially start in January 2017, culminating with performances the following May.

Bucks County Playhouse, under the direction of Robyn Goodman and Alexander Fraser, is pleased to announce a newly expanded lineup of education programs being offered this fall for children, teens, and adults. New programming this fall includes a three-part Musical Theatre Writing workshop taught by "Cake Off" composer Adam Gwon, running at the Playhouse August 19 - September 10, and the Saturday Musical Theatre program for children, back by popular demand, among many others!

Broadway, television and film star Justin Guarini returns to Bucks County Playhouse when he joins Tony nominee Euan Morton, Barrymore winner Michele Ragusa and newcomer Aidan J. Lawrence at Bucks County Playhouse for 'Cake Off,' a new musical by Sheri Wilner, Julia Jordan and Adam Gwon. 'Cake Off', directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch, will preview on August 19, with opening night August 20 and run through September 10, 2016.

 Is conformity the answer that guarantees safety and comfort in a 'civilized" society?  To continue its season, "But Who Am I, Really," The Seeing Place presents a revival which examines that distinct moment when a person makes a choice between two worlds that changes their identity forever. ?

'When Did You Last See Your Trousers': A British Farce by Ray Galton and John Antrobus is playing through September 10th at Stage Coach Theatre. Based on a story by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson, the production is directed by Karl Gautschi. 

Singer/Songwriter sensation Randi Driscoll calls together friends from Broadway to benefit up-and-coming actor-driven ensemble, The Seeing Place. The show, 'Reinvention' touches on the immense challenge put before us when life throws us struggles we're not sure we have the strength to face.

As of Thursday, June 9, 2016 Bucks County Playhouse's star-studded production of Robert Harling's "Steel Magnolias," under the direction of Oscar nominee Marsha Mason, becomes the highest-grossing show in Bucks County Playhouse's history.

iTheatrics, the Junior Theater Group and the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) will collaborate on the first-ever Junior Theater Festival West (JTF West), February 10-12, 2017 in Sacramento, CA (#JTFWest), it was announced today by Timothy Allen McDonald, founding chairman of iTheatrics and the Junior Theater Group and Julie Theobald, EdTA Executive Director.
