Pace's Actor's Studio Drama School celebrates its 13th Repertory Season, including an All-star MFA Candidate line-up consisting of 20 actors, 4 directors and 3 playwrights. There will be free theater performances open to the general public including world premieres of Night Bames, Sharp Edges and Starfishes.

Cellist Anne Fagerburg, violist Morris Jacob and violinist Erin Schreiber - all members of the St. Louis Symphony - will join pianist Martin Kennedy, assistant professor of music in Arts & Sciences, and mezzo-soprano Nöel Prince, instructor in voice, for a free performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 28. Sponsored by the Department of Music and the St. Louis Symphony Community Partnership program, the concert will take place in Washington University's E. Desmond Lee Concert Hall, located in the 560 Music Center, 560 Trinity Ave., at the intersection with Delmar Boulevard.

South Florida theater goers are in for a parade of solid hits direct from Broadway and South Florida premieres with the announcement that the current smash hit, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, opens the all musical Broadway in Miami 2011 - 2012 season at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. Scheduled as a lead-up to Halloween, from October 25 - 30, THE ADDAMS FAMILY will be followed by SHREK THE MUSICAL, a pre-holiday show that is great fun for ogres and ogresses of all ages, December 6 - 11; MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, introduces families to one of the greatest moments in rock ‘n' roll history, set to bring in the New Year, December 27 - January 1; and Twyla Tharps's loving ode to Frank Sinatra, COME FLY AWAY, locked in as the spring entry, March 20 - 25. For the first time in Miami, Disney's THE LION KING, the recordbreaking musical set in the African pride lands, will play May 15 - June 10 as the season's stunning finale.

The cast of JERSEY BOYS
will be led by Matt Bailey (Tommy DeVito), Joseph Leo Bwarie (Frankie Valli), Michael Lomenda (Nick Massi) and Quinn VanAntwerp (Bob Gaudio) as The Four Seasons, with Jonathan Hadley and Joseph Siravo.
Florida Grand Opera Announces 2011 - 2012 Season

Florida Grand Opera has announced the productions for the 2011-2012 season, which will be the Company's 71st consecutive season of producing grand opera in South Florida. The season includes two important 'firsts' for FGO: the first presentation of a zarzuela, Torroba's Luisa Fernanda, and the first production of Puccini's La rondine. The season will also include Verdi's Rigoletto and Gounod's Rom o et Juliette.

Now celebrating its Fifth Anniversary Season, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County announced the return of Mexico's legendary puppet company, MARIONETAS DE LA ESQUINA, with a new production sure to thrill and delight South Florida - THE CIRCUS. After a sold-out engagement last season, the troupe will present their special brand of dynamic live puppetry and riveting storytelling on February 26, 2011 at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. and on February 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Carnival Studio Theater in the Ziff Ballet Opera House. Both 2 p.m. performances will be presented in Spanish, and the Saturday 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. performances will be presented in English.
