Romantic and dreamy music takes center stage at Abravanel Hall on December 6 and 7 as highly-acclaimed Austrian guest conductor Hans Graf leads Utah Symphony in pieces by two 19th Century masters.

"A Legend of Communipaw: The Play," based on the Washington Irving short story of the same name, is making its world premiere this fall from Dec. 5 through 15 in Jersey City, Hudson County, N.J.

The Ruth Page Civic Ballet is proud to present its annual production of The Nutcracker this holiday season. This production marks the 10th season the Civic Ballet performs The Nutcracker and the first co-directed by the newly named Director of the Ruth Page School of Dance, Victor Alexander, with Ruth Page School of Dance Associate Director and Co-Founder Dolores Lipinski Long. Extreme and action-packed, All Wheel Sports adds a dazzling dose of adrenaline to The Eccles Center season on Saturday, December 7. Professional athletes - extreme skaters, skateboarders, and BMX bicycle performers - trick out at center stage with the help of ramps, pumping music and flashing lights. Dancers, trampoline artists, aerialists, pro scooters and spirited cheer stunts round out the high-octane performance. Show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Firehouse Theatre Project recently announced the complete casting and the creative team for The Wild Party, a musical with book, lyrics and music by Andrew Lippa. Panic Productions presents Panic at the Riverside Motel, a riotous, fast-paced dark comedy written by John Pastore about a dead body and all the inconveniences it causes an engaged couple in a seedy motel. Maria Riboli directs a cast of five, including Olivia Rose Barresi, Tom Burka, Tom Cappadona, Thom Christensen, and Michael Orlandi. Performances will be staged at the newly remodeled Stage IV Theatre, 300 West 43rd Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10036 from January 15-February 8, 2014.
