Polish those halos or seek redemption with a devilish and fun night of doing good. The fifth annual Saints & Sinners Ball invites all heroes, gangsters, despots, angels, villains, cherubs… to gather at St. Regis Deer Valley for an impishly delightful soiree tonight, March 12.

Boston, MA – February 16, 2016 – Boston Lyric Opera (BLO) unleashes Jules Massenet's melodic, romantic French opera Werther from its late 18th Century German source material, bringing it to an early-20th-Century arrondissement outside Paris as part of BLO's French-inspired season. This new production of Werther opens March 11 for a five-performance run at Citi Performing Arts CenterSM Shubert Theatre in Boston.

Gritty-voiced Ruthie Foster traverses blues, soul, rock, folk and gospel as she draws from her past - rural Texas church choir roots, a tour with the U.S. Navy Band and, most recently, time spent in the industry's limelight as a Grammy nominee. Four-time winner of the Blues Music Awards Best Traditional Female Artist of the Year (the Koko Taylor Award), the captivating Ms. Foster delivers a sound The New York Times calls "long-suffering, forthright, resilient and thoroughly at home." Writers Theatre today opened its new theatre center, featuring two theatres in a stunning building designed by Studio Gang Architects, led by principal Jeanne Gang, and built by general contractor W.E. O'Neil Construction. The new home, the centerpiece of a $34 million fundraising campaign, provides nationally-recognized Writers Theatre with two intimate performance spaces under one roof, improved patron and artist amenities, and rehearsal and production spaces. Located on the site of the former Woman's Library Club of Glencoe, the new center was developed in partnership with the Woman's Library Club and the Village of Glencoe.

According to The Huffington Post, "Bill T. [Jones] has constantly pushed the envelope of what dance can be." His groundbreaking artistry seeps into the movement and voices of his lithe performers as the unconventional, honest and compassionate piece "Analogy/Dora: Tramontane" fills The Eccles Center stage on March 5.
