On opening night of the New York Theatre Workshop production of the world premiere of What's It All About? Bacharach Reimagined, Burt Bacharach will perform on stage with the cast at the end of the performance. The opening is set for this Thursday, December 5, 2013.

One Hundred and Twenty-Five years ago this New Year's Eve, America's most celebrated actor, Edwin Booth gave the Deed of 16 Gramercy Park South to The Players. The Players tradition has been to read the deed in front of the Great Hall fire place echoing back to Edwin Booth and the Founding Members. This year, this tradition continues along with live music, dancing, and more festivities as The Players kicks off a new era, sharing a toast to its founders and celebrating 125 years at 'A Certain Club.'

Directed by Tony Award-winner and frequent Sondheim collaborator James Lapine, SIX BY SONDHEIM is a highly personal profile of a great American artist as revealed through the creation and performance of six of his iconic songs. Told primarily in Sondheim's own words, this feature documentary weaves together dozens of interviews with the composer, rarely seen archival material spanning more than half a century (including newly discoveRed Footage of Ethel Merman performing 'Gypsy') and re-stagings of three songs produced especially for the film. Executive produced by James Lapine and Frank Rich, the exclusive HBO presentation debuts MONDAY, DEC. 9 (9:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT). A slew of legendary stage and screen perfomers have contributed their insights, memories and recollections to a new book about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy titled SEVEN SECONDS by Holly Millea. Meryl Streep, Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft, Tom Stoppard, Nora Ephron, Lauren Bacall and many more participate in the collective memory book, released on the fiftieth anniversary of the political icon's date of death.

Karen Wyman, who was a national sensation for a short time in the late '60s and early '70s before disappearing unexpectedly from the scene, has re-entered the earth's atmosphere. The rocket-voiced phenom, who electrified a packed Metropolitan Room on Saturday, announced that she will return there with her new show, "The Second Time Around," for two exclusive nights in December -- Friday and Saturday December 20 & 21, both at 7pm.
