GLEE creator Ryan Murphy has revealed to TheWrap that the next installment of GLEE, beginning April 13, feature more musical numbers per episode.

In a new interview with People.com, GLEE's creator Ryan Murphy tells the magazine that he doesn't know what role Idina Menzel will play on GLEE, noting that 'I just met with her once. It sort of got leaked, but I haven't plotted it out yet.'

Variety is reporting that commercial broadcaster Antena 3 has signed a rights deal with FOX to broadcast Spanish free-to-air nights of GLEE on the Spanish network Modern Family and Family Guy spinoff, The Cleveland Show, are also part of the Antena 3-FOX deal. The American Film Institute announced its official selection for the AFI awards, which honor the top television shows and films of the year. Amongst the nominees for 2009 is Glee, the FOX musical hit which ended its season finale on a high note last week, with 8.1 million viewers tuning in. The Hollywood Reporter is now stating that Idina Menzel is in official negotiations for a recurring role on Fox's hit TV series - GLEE! Menzel may appear in all of the nine remaining episodes of the season to play the coach of rival Glee Club - Vocal Adrenaline.
