The Michigan Shakespeare Festival officially announced their 2014 Season on Saturday night at the Scenes & Sonnets From Shakespeare event, starring Janet Haley and David Turrentine, and sponsored by JTV's Karen and Bart Hawley. The lineup for the 20th Anniversary Season will be Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, and Shakespeare's romantic adventure Cymbeline.

Raven Theatre welcomes you home in The Trip to Bountiful by Horton Foote, directed by JoAnn Montemurro. Opening night is Monday, September 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Raven Theatre, 6157 N. Last Week, a group of 20 design students from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) visited the Lightology Showroom for a Lighting Education Tour. Lighting Designer Diane Fairchild and Architect Richard Kasemsarn brought their "Design with Light" class to Lightology for an immersive educational experience.

Soldiers' characters are put to the test in Raven Theatre's A Soldier's Play by Charles Fuller, directed by Michael Menendian.
