Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (RTE) Chicago's only Equity theatre devoted to the work of women theatre artists, and Artistic Director Tara Mallen are proud to announce the Chicago premiere of Courtney Baron's Eat Your Heart Out, directed by Hallie Gordon, May 22 - June 28 at Rivendell's performance venue, 5779 N. Ridge Ave. Previews are Thursday, May 22 - Saturday, May 24 at 8 p.m., and Wednesday, May 28 - Friday, May 30 at 8 p.m. Press Opening is Saturday, May 31 at 7 p.m. with Opening Night Sunday and Board reception, June 1 at 6 p.m. The performance schedule is Wednesday - Fridays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 4 and 8 p.m. The running time is approximately 90 minutes with no intermission. The Michigan Shakespeare Festival officially announced their 2014 Season on Saturday night at the Scenes & Sonnets From Shakespeare event, starring Janet Haley and David Turrentine, and sponsored by JTV's Karen and Bart Hawley. The lineup for the 20th Anniversary Season will be Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, and Shakespeare's romantic adventure Cymbeline.
