Birdland Jazz Club is pleased to announce their stirring line-up of incomparable talent for July 1 - July 7, 2013.

Jazz festivals first made their foray into France here, in Juan les Pins. Today, the town on the French Riviera is home to the Jazz à Juan festival, now in its 53rd year, and the private beach at the AC Hotel Ambassadeur Antibes - Juan les Pins has reopened just in time for the party.

Over 120 performances will be held on stage between July 2013 and June 2014. Highlights include a diverse theatre series featuring Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Tony-nominated BRING IT ON, Tony-Winning MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, ROCK OF AGES and Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT; contemporary performers such as Michael Bolton, Kenny Loggins, Michael W. Smith and Clint Black; classical artists including Sarah Chang and Itzhak Perlman, comedians including Drew Carey, Joan Rivers, Jason Alexander and Jim Belushi, and many more (see schedule below).

Joe's Pub at The Public will make its debut in Brooklyn as a co-presenter at the second annual Great GoogaMooga Festival in Prospect Park. The three-day outdoor food, drink and music festival is produced by Superfly Presents and will take place today, May 17 through Sunday, May 19, 2013. The Joe's Pub Stage will host eight performances on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19.

Singer Lynn Henderson will return to the Metropolitan Room on June 3rd at 7pm with a new show titled "I TRAVEL ALONE." This is her second engagement at the popular club; in 2012 Lynn performed her successful show, "TRY TO REMEMBER" - a joy-filled, tasteful romp through a life well lived.

The 2013 Juno Awards were announced last night in Regina, Saskatchewan. Three of the four classical categories were won by Naxos and its distributed labels including the first ever win for a composer in the new Naxos Canadian Classics series (http://bit.ly/ZH6hx4).

The Atlanta Symphony Associates has just announced a series of signature events as part of the 43rd Annual Decorators' Show House & Gardens. In addition to touring the home, these events welcome all attendees to participate and indulge in tailored special presentations - including lectures, book signings, garden tours, wine tastings, and cooking demonstrations - that will take place at Tuffeau Estate in April and May.
