Previews for Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR on Broadway begin today at the Neil Simon Theatre. Directed by the Stratford Shakespeare Festival's Artistic Director and 2-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR will open March 22, 2012

Actor, Jonathan Hadley back in Charlotte as Bob Crewe in 'Jersey Boys,' The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. Book by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, Music by Bob Gaudio, Lyrics by Bob Crewe, Directed by Des McAnuff.

DOMA Theatre Company kicks off its 2012 season of musical theater with a revival of The Who's Tommy. Hallie Baran directs the Tony Award-winning rock opera that features a book by Pete Townshend and Des McAnuff; music and lyrics by The Who's Pete Townshend; and additional music and lyrics by John Entwistle, Keith Moon and Sonny Boy Williamson. Musical director is Chris Raymond and Angela Todaro choreographs. Performances take place March 23 through April 15 at The MET Theatre in Los Angeles.

Sarofim Hall is set to bring the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons to the stage in JERSEY BOYS. The national tour will stop in Houston from March 13 through 30th.

JERSEY BOYS - The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, is soon to open at the Civic Theatre, Auckland, New Zealand, with performances from 10 April, for a strictly limited season.

Led by an ensemble that includes the always superb Michael Holder in the titular role of Tommy, the "deaf, dumb and blind kid" who becomes a "pinball wizard," setting off widespread public acclaim and becoming a cause celebre in the process, Tommy in Concert also features the inspired pairing of Holly Shepherd and Ben Van Diepen as Mrs. Walker and Captain Walker. Despite the age difference of the two actors-not to mention their youthfulness in relation to Holder's casting as their onstage son-Shepherd and Van Diepen are believably cast as young lovers who marry in the early days of World War II only to find that first blush of romantic dreaminess devolve into the nightmarish consequences that set the show's plot in motion.

The award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS recently re-opened at the Paris Las Vegas hotel after concluding its run at the Palazzo Las Vegas at the end of 2011. BroadwayWorld brings you the boys' arrival to their new home below.

On Friday night, February 17th, cast members from JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR performed a special secret fan preview concert for a few very lucky fans of the show. The Broadway production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR has announced a Student Rush policy. Tickets for $27 will be available at the box office on the day of the performance, cash only with a valid student ID, limit of 2 tickets per person.

Josh Young, who will be starring in the role of Judas in the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of Jesus Christ Superstar is engaged to be married to his girlfriend of one year, Alia Rosenstock. Alia is the Associate Artist Manager at Dean Artists Management in Toronto; specializing in classical singers, directors and conductors. No wedding date has been announced.

The Stratford Shakespeare Festival's hit production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, directed by 2-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff, opens March 22, 2012 (previews begin March 1) at the Neil Simon Theatre.The cast features Paul Nolan as Jesus Christ, Josh Young as Judas Iscariot, Chilina Kennedy as Mary Magdalene, Tom Hewitt as Pontius Pilate, Bruce Dow as King Herod, Marcus Nance as Caiaphas and Aaron Walpole as Annas. Dates have been announced for the Atlanta return engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The musical will make its much-anticipated return to Atlanta to play the Fox Theatre May 22 through June 10 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2011-12 season.

JERSEY BOYS today confirmed with aussietheatre.com.au that they will be transferring to the Lyric Theatre, QPAC, Brisbane from July 13 after their New Zealand season.
