For the Bay Area debut of his new show, "Fruit Fly", Leslie travels back in time using show-and-tell to take the audience on the ride of a lifetime. Do gay men become their mothers? That is the question asked in Leslie's hilarious and touching new romp featuring childhood recollections combined with perilous teenage shenanigans. Jordan's storytelling skills abound and will make for an evening of fun and thought-provoking theater. The show will run December 18 through December 22.

TVGuide.com reports that Leslie Jordan has been cast in the FOX comedy RAISING HOPE. The Broadway vet will portray the leader of a couples retreat attended by the series two lead characters, Jimmy and Sabrina.

Deadline.com reports that the ABC network has shelved its pilot COUNTER CULTURE due to an injury to its star Delta Burke. The actress reportedly took a fall on the set during pre-shooting, only days before main taping in front of a live audience was to begin.

According to TVGuide.com, Briga Heelan has joined the cast of the upcoming ABC comedy pilot COUNTER CULTURE. The actress joins previously announced cast members Margo Martindale, Delta Burke, Kerri Kenney, Ken Howard and Doris Roberts.

ABC details its 13 comedy pilots under consideration for next season.
