The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to present the return of composer/lyricist Scott Alan to the stage on Monday, April 18 at 7pm.

Judy Kent, currently represented on Broadway by Driving Miss Daisy, presents an invitation-only reading of Welcome to My Life, a new pop/rock musical with music and lyrics by Bobby Cronin and a book by Alicia Dempster and Bobby Cronin.

11th Hour Theatre Company and Drexel University's Mandell Professionals in Residence Project are thrilled to welcome Jonathan Larson Award-winning songwriters Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk back to their hometown for a one-night-only Philadelphia concert at Drexel's Mandell Theater, 33rd & Chestnut Streets, Sunday, April 3 at 7 pm.

The reading will take place on April 11, 2011 at 2pm.

After releasing their debut album Our First Mistake and selling out venues across New York City, songwriting duo and Larson Award winners Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk (The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown, Henry and Mudge) hosted the final NY concert of YOU MADE THIS TOUR on Sunday, March 27 at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street). In the following videos, Broadway veterans Mandy Gonzalez and Michal Arden sing 'How to Return Home' and 'Run Away with Me' respectively.

On March 7, The 24 Hour Company teamed with the Exchange to produce The 24 Hour Musicals at The Gramercy Theatre. Four brand new musicals were written, cast, rehearsed and performed in a single day, featuring an star-studded line up of Broadway performers, composers, writers, directors, choreographers and musical directors. Creative director Ted Sperling (musical director of Light in the Piazza, South Pacific and Guys & Dolls), led some of the theatre's brightest talent from Broadway, film and television as they collaborated under one roof, in one day, to create original musical theatre. BroadwayWorld was on hand and brings you coverage of THE WORLD IS ENDING starring Anthony Rapp.

Rising songwriters Jonathan Reid Gealt and Kait Kerrigan & Brian Lowdermilk had a joint celebration of their respective CD releases 'Thirteen Stories Down' and 'Our First Mistake' on Sh-K-Boom Records with back-to-back concerts at downtown venue (Le) Poisson Rouge on Monday, February 7th.
