Sands, who was nominated in 2007 for his role in JOURNEY'S END, plays Tunny in the Green Day musical.

Last night, July 25, the cast of American Idiot took the stage at Joe's Pub to benefit Broadway Impact and their continued efforts to fight for marriage equality. The monthly concert features cast members from various Broadway shows, highlighting the show's performers and the theatre community's commitment to equality. The first sold out show featured the cast of Next to Normal and on August 23rd the cast of Memphis will take the stage for the final installment. 100% of the proceeds go directly to Broadway Impact. The cast of the hit Broadway musical AMERICAN IDIOT performed '21 Guns' live this morning, June 10th, in the 8am (EST) hour, on CBS's 'The Early Show,' which airs weekdays from 7-9am. The appearance featured Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr., Tony Award Nominee Stark Sands, Michael Esper, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Christina Sajous, and Mary Faber as well as Declan Bennett, Andrew Call, Gerard Canonico, Miguel Cervantes, Brian Charles Johnson, Leslie McDonel, Chase Peacock, Theo Stockman, Ben Thompson, Alysha Umphress, Sean Wing and Libby Winters.
